Ryu Kyu Kempo is one of the last few traditional Okinawan Karate Martial Arts.
It is one of the few martial arts that has ideas that are as practical in self-defense today as they were in its origins. It has four main parts:
Tuite jitsu: The art of grappling and joint locks
Atemi Jitsu: The art of warning strikes to the limbs
Kyusho Jitsu: The art of "fatal" striking to the torso (in this case fatal does not have to mean "touch of death," but could mean any fight ending strike, such as a knockout strike)
Kobudo (Weapons): Weapons are also an integral part of this system. Okinawan weapons in this system include The Bo (6ft staff), Jo (4ft staff), Tanbo (two 28in sticks), Sai (metal "forks"), Tonfa (police batons), Eku (oar), Chizikunbo (6in sticks), nunchaku (two sticks with a cord or chain connecting them), and others.
