Which class is right for me?
Picking the right martial art is one of the hardest things to do in the martial arts. That's why when you sign up you will get a week of free classes to try them all. If reading the descriptions of each class isn't enough, below is a chart, so that you can match what you would like to get out of the martial arts against what each class has to offer.

What style is this class? Where do the moves come from?
Moves in this class come from a variety of sources. Most moves come from Capoeira, Gymnastics, Breakdancing, Wushu Kung-Fu, Judo, Ju-Jitsu, and Aikido, but since this is an expressive art additional moves can be picked up from movies, video game, and through one's own creativity. Remember, this classes main goals are to have fun and to be able to demonstrate complicated Martial arts moves, so creativity is necessary at higher levels.
Is there conditioning in this class?
Yes, there will be some conditioning in this class (including arm strength, plyometrics (exercises to jump higher), hip flexors (exercises to kick higher), abs, and more. Basically, we will condition any muscle that will help you perform a martial arts trick better.
Is this one of those schools where an instructor yells at you while you do push-ups?
No, one of our dojo rules is that the instructor must also perform all conditioning that the students do. This is to make sure the instructor doesn't overwork or underwork the class. It is also to keep the intensity level high. And after all, the instructor is there to improve just as much as the students are there to improve.
Can I compete?
Yes, there are many ways for you to compete. There are many global organizations such as N.A.S.K.A., North American Sport Karate Association, that allow you to compete on the international level. And for those starting out, you can compete in any tournament that allows non-traditional forms (most of them). In fact most tournaments, will give extra points for moves done at the level of difficulty of most of the moves learned in a typical acrocombat class.
